Test as close to the time of the event as possible (at least within 1-2 days) to help you make informed decisions about your health and your risk of spreading COVID-19 to others. Testing can be helpful even when you don’t have symptoms or a recent exposure to COVID-19, such as before an event or visiting someone at higher risk. If your second antigen test is also negative, wait another 48 hours and test a third time.

If you do not have symptoms but have been exposed to COVID-19, wait at least 5 full days after your exposure before taking a test. If your antigen test is negative, take another antigen test after 48 hours or take a PCR test as soon as you can.If you use an antigen test, a positive result is reliable, but a negative test is not always accurate.

If you are only going to take a single test, a PCR test will provide a more reliable negative test result.I think the international Disney Parks have some more different covid vaccination requirements.Key times to get tested: If you have symptoms, test immediately.

If you are going to Universal Studios Hollywood as well as Disneyland Resort, there are some different covid requirements there. There was a rumor that the requirement would be for guests as well, but that is not true. I just tucked it into my shirt when I was outdoors in open areas.Īll Disneyland Resort cast members are now required to be vaccinated for covid by April 11th. I used a face mask lanyard when I was in the parks last summer so that when I needed to slip in on to go inside it was very handy and I didn't need to search for it in my backpack. I've seen some on line discussions where an adult mentioned they are going into Disneyland without vaccination and don't care, so masking up in crowded outdoor areas such as during fireworks is very wise. You'll see people in the parks wearing face masks outdoors even though it is not required because it feels safer to them, especially in crowded situations. Face masks with characters on them are sold on property. From memory these are bandanas, neck gaiters, and vented masks. There are some face coverings that are no acceptable at Disneyland Resort because they are considered less effective. Indoor dining is open and face masks are not required while eating and drinking. That includes indoor queues for rides and indoor rides ( a few examples would be Space Mountain, It's a Small World, Indiana Jones Adventure). The only actual covid restriction at Disneyland Resort is face masks are required to be worn in any indoor space for ages 2 and up, covering both nose and mouth. It's just little square boxes that you check. There is a self attestment when you purchase tickets or make a park reservation but that simply attests to your awareness that the State of California recommends covid vaccination or testing. Disneyland Resort doesn't require vaccination or testing to enter the parks.
